Of the three times I've seen them play Two Step, this was BY FAR the sexiest that sax solo has ever been!

I'd probably cut out food before I cut out concert tickets.

Since when do you act like an adult anyway?

Very infrequently... but it does happen. I'm also not getting drunk, and cutting back on coffee this month. This month fucking sucks.

If I cut concerts, booze and coffee out of my life all that would be left is masturbation and sleep.

While I do like those things, I'd eventually get stuck to my bed and starve to death.

I'm definitely doing lots of both these days.

It's like the opposite of a Jane Austen novel in here

That's probably why I read this board so much.

Beerfest - Royal Athletic Park, Victoria - September 8th (I know this doesn't really count, but fuck you, I'm excited.)
The Antlers - Venue - September 15th (Too bad Rich Aucoin is playing at the same time in another venue)
Hot Chip - Commodore Ballroom - September 16th (maybe)
Animal Collective - Malkin Bowl - September 19th
The Shins - The Orpheum - September 25th
Grizzly Bear - Commodore Ballroom - October 6th or 7th
deftones - Commodore Ballroom - October 14th
The Presets - Commodore Ballroom - October 15th
Flying Lotus - Forchune Sound Lounge - October 22nd
Freaknight - WAMU Theater, Seattle - October 26th
(OR)
Dan Deacon - Biltmore Cabaret - October 26th
Dan Mangan - Queen Elizabeth Theater - November 9th
Paul McCartney - BC Place Stadium - November 25th (if tickets aren't stupid expensive)
Posted by alex on Sept 7, 2012, 3:30pm
Yeah I'm going to try to get tickets to Macca, but that shit is going to sell out so fucking fast. Rexall is even smaller than BC Place (I think...) so it's going to be impossible to get my hands on them.

One of 4 North American shows this year. First time ever in Edmonton. Tickets are between $40-$250 I think I heard.

BC Place is massive. It's a football stadium, instead of a hockey arena. Edmonton is fucked.

BC Place capacity (without floor seating) - 59,841
Rexall Place capactiy (without floor seating) - 16,839

From the first post in this thread. Funny.

Who wants to miss a great show because they were not vigilant enough with their local concert listings? NOBODY. Least of all me. So if you got tickets to something cool, brag about it! God forbid we ever become familiar with one another's faces, but social anxiety, paranoia or shame shouldn't prevent us from enjoying a common experience!

This weekend is going to be exhausting (in a good way). Heading out now to Marymoor for My Morning Jacket/Shabazz palaces

Then get a double dose of burrito for Lightning Bolt (Sat) and Chelsea Wolfe/Crypts (Sun). WOOT WOOT

Dude. We're triple dosin'. Let's chief a MMJ.

As much as I would love to boogie at The Antlers my vote goes to Rich Aucoin. Looks like I'll miss both though as I am likely getting sent to butt fuck nowhere around Wednesday next week. With any luck something will explode around here and I can stay.

In other news:

GIRL TALK

It's stupid how excited I am to see him but I don't even care. First time indoors and easily the smallest crowd I will probably ever see him in.

I was really hoping for the Antlers/Rich Aucoin combo early/late show, but no dice, and I already have tickets for The Antlers.
