In Flames should be touring with the likes of Korn and Shinedown these days.

I was pretty impressed when I saw them in Spring. I really don't car for their latest stuff though.

Edit: I can say the same for Korn though. No matter how "Korny" they seem, they always kick ass live.

Just wanted to say that ISAM exceeded all expectations and was by far the coolest and most enjoyable electronic performance I have ever been to. That shit was unbelievable. I didn't get tired of looking at that thing for even five seconds.

I'm going to see Pretty Lights tonight. Just seeing ISAM is going to make his stage production look so weak.

EDIT: Referring to In Flames

I saw them right after they released Reroute to Remain, which marked the first big style change of their career. Thankfully they still played a lot of older chunes back then, but I can't even pretend to want to ever see them again nowadays. They refuse to even acknowledge an entire decade of music that they created.

Pretty Lights looks weak no matter what.

So...not to nit pick here, but is there even a point of having a reviews thread if people are still reviewing shows in the upcoming shows thread?
Posted by Pea on Sept 5, 2012, 12:13pm
Actually, yes, I am absolutely nit picking.

On the moon, we have transcended rules. And manners.

M83 tonight. :) I'm a little excited.

Pretty Lights is inferior to Amon Tobin in every way. I just have to try to switch my brain off and enjoy what is in front of me.

Assuming they use the same new visual display they used at Bumbershoot, you're in for a real treat. It was gorgeous and they sounded amazing.

PNW Dates

Fri/Dec-14 Medford, OR @ Medford Armory
Sat/Dec-15 Spokane, WA @ Knitting Factory
Sun/Dec-16 Seattle, WA @ Showbox SODO

Edit: Actually the last half of the show, which includes these dates, will have Hellyeah instead of Hatebreed. That sucks. LOG and In Flames are still going fuck shit up at the Knit though.
What the fuck? I thought they were going to just move the dates with Dethklok and Gojira. Man, fuck that shit.
