Freaknight ticket purchased today. The price stung a little, but I was able to save $12 by buying it at the box office instead of online. Pretty fucking excited for this!
My late summer/fall shows are pretty fucking electro...
September 3rd - Bumbershoot @ Seattle Center (Skrillex, Passion Pit, M83, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Hey Marseilles)
October 18th - Wolfgang Gartner, Pierce Fulton, and Popeska @ The Wilma Theater
October 26th - Freaknight @ WAMU Theater (Armin van Buuren, Bingo Players, Borgore, Chuckie, Dada Life, Flux Pavilion, Le Castle Vania, Modestep, Morgan Page, Netsky, Nicky Romero, Noisia, Sander van Doorn, and more)
So Big Gigantic is playing The Wilma in October. Should I go to that? I've heard mixed reviews but its only like $15 to get in.
I noticed they seem to be a pretty high billed act. They have a different style. The live drums and sax sound like they would be cool live. You can get most of their music for free. I think I will probably check it out. It looks like a pretty good stage production as well.

If I go I want to find a place to crash for the 17th-21st so I can stay in Zoo to see both Wolfgang Gartner again and Big Gigantic.
Nah I went to Voodoo 2 or whatever it's called. Wtf ballroom did I pass then?? Wonder Ballroom? Is that a thing? There is some kind of ballroom on your side of the river.
The Wonder Ballroom is much further north than Voodoo, so you didn't pass that on the way. If you saw a sign that said, "Ballroom," it was either a studio which teaches ballroom dancing (on Belmont), or the Bossanova "Ballroom" (I don't recall their sign stating "Ballroom" however). If you saw an upcoming shows sign, you were most likely passing the Doug Fir, which is about a ten minute walk from Voodoo 2.
I'd really like to go to Girl Talk in a couple weeks, but I have a strict "no buying any more concert tickets until I'm not homeless" policy right now. Hmmph.

Thank you, I was so confused how he would have possibly passed the Wonder driving over to Sandy.
