My next highly anticipated show is Black Moth Super Rainbow, next Wednesday at Holocene. This is such perfect summer music to me. Maybe it will bring us some warmer weather.

Muddled? Disjointed? Inaudible?

I didn't end up making it to the show, but I read a review that said they were pretty fantastic.

I will be at OSL but Doe Bay always seems pretty awesome. Mellow and such a beautiful setting. Excellent alternative.

Saw Big Wreck last night.. never been a huge fan myself, but my friend is and she needed someone to go with. Thornley was much better as Thornley, and though he is incredibly skilled, the effortlessness of his performance detracts from the show IMO. Still had some "sick" guitar solos though.

Big Wreck are fucking awesome. Their new album makes it seem as if they never left. Thornley was decent enough until he let Chad Kroeger taker over the production reigns. Glad they're back with a vengance.

Yeah, that sucks. Luckily I just saw them at Coachella, but I was really looking forward to buying the fuck out of their merchandise.

In other concert news, Dead Milkmen sold out in Portland so I'm coming down next weekend for Black Dice pt. 2 instead. Hopefully HG/Stormy party pt. 2 as well. As much as I would like to see the Milkmen, I'm pretty excited things turned out this way, because, well, mothafuckin' Black Dice, y'all!

Holy shits I'm seeing Black Dice in 5 days and in 6 days.
