I think I'm just an old salty elitist when it comes to "pummeling" music. They just come off as a bastardized digital hardcore band for the indie kids to me. I can definitely stand behind anyone wanting to rock the fuck out though, so more power to ya for that ;D

Haha, yeah considering our respective backgrounds in music I can accept the fact that I'm a lightweight when it comes to pummeling.

And holy shit! Garth Brooks is playing the stampede. Fuck yes. I am definitely there. Today is a good news day!

As awesome as it would be to see him, I guarantee that these tickets are going to be insanely fucking expensive and will sell out in seconds. Rumour has it though, that there is a second show already planned, which will also sell out in seconds.

Totally going to see Sleigh Bells with wonk, Switch and Switch's Hot Wife this weekend.

You should get there early and tell me how Elite Gymnastics are.

Yeah that's definitely not going to happen. I got over the need to be there in time for the opening act like ten years ago.

That's a shame. Javelin is pretty cool too.

We have a base of operations that is less than a five minute walk from the Roseland, and we tend to pre-funk the shit out of any show we go to see there until like right before the headliner takes the stage.

I got an email back from Key Arena saying Radiohead is scheduled to be on stage from 8:30 to 10:45 on Monday, no way in hell I'm going to my evening class now lol

Radiohead > class

How can you not love Sleigh Bells? They are great. Crunchy, chuneful, unique, LOUD, and so much fucking fun.

Plus I've had a crush on Alexis Krauss since I was like thirteen.

I would do terrible things to eat a cheeseburger with Alexis Krauss. And no, that is not a euphemism.

Yeah, I'll probably be there too, if I don't have to sell a kidney to afford the tickets.

So I guess I'll just be on the other side of the Roseland while you all hang out then...

Jon Benjamin tickets purchased.

Did you purchase them online or at the venue? If venue, how much did they cost?
