You wanted a review on another show that escapes me right now?
I'm not a Sebadoh superfan, which is why I called dude and dude, "dude and dude." I like their music, but never spent much time Dr. Garbanzouring out who is who. |

| Fair enough. I should've just been appreciative of the awesomely detailed review of Quasi. |

MFNW 10 was great, but so many bands I wanted to see were playing at the same time (missed out on Titus and Japandroids)
got to see Ted Leo, Major Lazer, Baroness, Sleep, Decemberists, Ceremony, and Nomeansno |

Battles was pretty great tonight. Mirrored is one of my favorite albums from the last couple years, and they didn't play a single note off it. They didn't play any older stuff either. Those guys are pretty amazing musicians, and I feel like they have ruined all my upcoming shows. "What, you don't play four instruments, lame."
It was even the most sober I've been at a show, and I still zoned into the music several times. I felt sorry for the drummer putting so much effort into the show. The only other time I felt that way for a drummer was STS9. |

| That's like a 1 in 100 picture, know, having tried to take a picture just like that many a time. Well done. |

Pure luck. I used to take one photo at every large show I attended, just for documentation porpoises. I took about ten photos last night, and the one I posted is by far the best (more like one in 400).
I know a thing or two about spacing in photography, so I'm amused that photo ended up being nearly perfectly centered, and nearly perfectly half crowd, half lasers.
And Geno, Ghostland plays every eight months in Portland. They are the epitome of fun live band. I've seen them four or five times, yet have never listened to a note on their albums (same with STS9). |

My university just had their annual music festival last night. Wiz Khalifa, Jimmy Eat World, Mike Posner, JFK from MSTRCRFT, Crystal Castles, Beach House and a bunch of others. I really only cared about JEW and JFK. JFK was mindblowing.
I was working the event and now that I've had my hand at organizing a one day festival, I have even more respect for those who organize the larger ones. |

| Rammstein: As far as production goes, that was the best display of, "look what we can do," I've seen. |
