Of that list I've seen Marilyn Manson (Calgary), Snow (Muchmusic Snow Job) and The Beach Boys (Calgary) circa 1987 (so I believe Brian Wilson was present). Forgive me if I'm wrong on that but I was 10 years old. Seeing The Jacksons is a feat though!

And my contribution to this thread would be:

Daft Punk
Amy Winehouse
Pink Floyd
Mogwai
Urge Overkill
At the Drive-In

Having seen Sharks Keep Moving is probably the only thing that could make me more jealous of you. What era of ATD-I was this in? Also, I was going to ask why you didn't include any ATD-I on my mix, but then I Dr. Garbanzoured you must have seen that I am a huge ATDI fan.

Hmm, lets see... my list:

1. Kevin Drew (solo on the Spirit If tour)
2. Circa Survive
3. Billy Joel/ Elton John
4. Daft Punk (pyramid setup, fungi and all)
5. Greenday (for any of you longtime Seattleites, it was the 'world's largest end session' that The End held at the Valley 6 Drive-in in Auburn. 'Twas my first concert- I misremembered in the lurkers thread- and people were smoking the weeds and flashing the boobs. I had never seen/ smelled either in person before, but my dad made sure I got as little exposure as possible. The show was the day after Warning had come out, but they only played one song from it, and the rest of the show was so cool to me as a 7th grader. Especially when Dirnt threw his bass through the floor tom and they soaked all their stuff in lighter fluid and lit pretty much the entire stage on fire. To 12 year old me, it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen).
6. Thursday- One of the best lineups for any show that I had seen at the time: The Number 12 Looks Like You, Thursday, and Minus the Bear.

At the Drive-In, 2000 era. I DID include At the Drive-In on your mix! I put "Sleepwalk Capsules". I put them on your mix because I DID see that you were a fan and I wanted to put something that I knew you'd like just in case the rest of the CD tanked. Speaking of which you still have yet to post the tracklisting/review for disc 2.

Also, Thursday are a great band and kicked ass live when I saw them with the Deftones.

Oh yeah, that's right! I'll be getting on that this weekend. Silly me.

[quote author=hornedgramma board=other thread=845 post=50000 time=1303536065]Way, way jealous. Great time to have seen em, all things considered.

It was an amazing show. Of the hundreds of shows I've seen, only three have been stadium extravaganzas and this one was the best in terms of sound and visuals. The vocals and instruments were crystal fucking clear which was expected to be the case, but this exceeded my expectations and I have yet to attend a show that beats the sound quality of this one. SPECTACULAR!

Seen Mogwai, saw the Spirit If tour, and "Sleepwalk Capsules" is an unspeakably fucking sweet song.

Mogwai are so good live, an un-fucking-believably LOUD!!! I would have loved to have seen them indoors with a decent light show.

No, I'm pretty sure they played "This Song Brought to You by a Falling Bomb" and I am therefore obligated to disagree.

^I do believe you are correct, sir.

It's a pretty big "my dick is bigger than your dick" thread...but interesting nonetheless.

I'm surprised that Nirvana hasn't shown up in someones list. Has no one here seen Nirvana? I never did and to this day I have not met one person that has seen them either. Strange.
