Why have I not heard of this festival before? I know its new but still! Pemberton is so much closer than the Gorge too. I am kind of speechless right now. |

1st year festival, and the pembertonfestival.com website is not even working yet. So it still might not go...
But I love how many acts are not the same acts at Sasquatch..I also love the Dance tent they have! |

| AND....it won't be 100 degrees either (knowing what I know...BC is pretty much same to Washington in weather right? Is it a temperate area? Its close to the mountains, so I am hoping not too hot? |

Seems pretty legit to me. It can get pretty hot around the end of July/August but probably not as hot as the Gorge. The area is definitely not as arid and desert-like as George. I've been camping in Pemberton a few times. It a beautiful area. I am ridiculously excited for this fest, not to take anything away from Sasquatch! |

That'll be known when Live Nation makes the official announcement and launches the website tomorrow. The website will be at www.pembertonfestival.com
Of course this all depends on final approval at a Pemberton council meeting tonight. But I think it's just a formality. |
