I vote the Pixies come for sure... I saw them on their latest re-reunion show.... amazing. Also, Sigur Ros is just great anytime. As well as The Arcade Fire and Broken Social Scene. Tom Waits, too...

Post a lot about who you want to come to this year's festival... maybe they read the threads for lineup ideas..

I'll co-sign this wish.

If all 4 of who you suggested came this year, I may never return to Sasquatch on the assumption it couldn't get better after that. Only thing that could is Springsteen, Nick Cave, and for shits and giggles the Misfits re-united.

Wasn't Danzig just doing a few Misfits songs?

He reemerges with Doyle every now and then and they play a few. The "American Psycho" era got back together sans Jerry Only at a Danzig show I guess. I don't see how Danzig couldn't do a full Misfits type set anyway, as much as I love the Misfits, not complicated music. Plus it's still much better than 85% of his material as Danzig. if Jerry Only really got how much money could be made off of a Misfits reunion, he would probably do it. But he's so dumb he thinks the Misfits now are the same thing. If Danzig, Only, Doyle, and Dr. Chud played, I would pay the amount for a Sasquatch weekend for that, that's how amazingly unlikely it is.

I agree with you on that one, man... Nick Cave is fantastic, The Boss is the Boss, and The Misfits are definately just a fun sort of band now... seeing as Jerry Only does all of the vocals now... but hey, who doesn't like dancing around drunk to Misfit songs playes 5 times fast?

that would be fun to see the misfits!

Sigur Ros absolutely!! They played a really small theater here in Vancouver last winter and the show sold out in hours. This band is so under-rated and from what I've heard they put on an amazing show.
...also love the Pixies. Saw them 3 years ago and my ears were ringing for a week.

They're offering a signed Pixies poster with tickets and camping as the prize for naming the Comedy/Dance tent. Hmmm.

I'll go for a spin in my Delorian and probably come up with the name Rumpus Room, or something mindless like that.

Holy shit, how could we have missed this?

Could you please tell us how you were able to stay up on this development? Like, what sites do you regularly check? I still can't believe that no one on this board posted about this when it was announced two months ago.
