That's a different friend (shocked you remember that story). THAT friend has an ambient project called "The Eemian," and is nuts about William Basinski, Stars of the Lid, and Richard Buckner.

Can someone please explain how Taylor Swifts album is on some of these lists? I mean, like I've never fucking listened to it, but I know for damn sure it is not any good.

Yes I like pop. Yes I understand that it's cool if it's not for me. But I just listened to it, and I stand by my original statement. But I guess my view of 'good' pop must be skewed, or what is actually considered 'pop' these days.
