I have 20 pages of this to read still, but I'm going to go ahead and assume we never actually come up with one. I guess I'll find out in 20 pages though.

Also going to go ahead and predict that this thread ruined 3 friendships.

I could ban you... at least for a few days. You need to cool down, sit in that corner facing the wall, and think about what you've done.

Alright, but I'm takin' that picture of Weenie dressed up like Tinkerbell with me.

Awesome.

Question: have the people who don't think the Beatles are the shit heard the Beatles on vinyl? This will change minds.

There aren't many believers in vinyl around here. I think you, me, Geno and badchoices are it. Oh, and Friendly D, but he's on the moon or something.

I'd like to join this club. For me sound is only about 25% of it, the aesthetic pleasure is most of it for me.

Yeah, for me it's about going to the shop and coming out with a couple awesome albums, opening them up for the first time--seeing the album art in it's intended format. An then of course the physical act of dropping the needle onto your new purchase, and getting up to turn it over. I love the routine of vinyl more than anything else.

Oh no, I'm seeing Built to Spill now. Getting frightened that my little Doug Martsch-lovin' heart is about to get torn out like that one time I tried to defend Pavement. Man, I hope everyone loves Built to Spill.

Built to Spill and Caribou and The Knife have not been refuted as far as I remember. Of those, Built to Spill is the most popular, so they probably win.

Also Bjork, but I'm fairly convinced that y'all are just afraid of my backlash.

Never listened to Built to Spill or The Knife. :-/

Bjorrito us nit the shit. (filterpalooza)

Caribou is the shit.

Well there you have it; Caribou is the shit.

Fox: you crazy, but I'm excited none the less to get the fuck down and boogie when Caribou inevitably plays the 'squatch.

It's about time we filter "the shit" as well. Le shite?

Fox, I have a feeling you'd love The Knife. I can't be 100% on that; call it a hunch.

There aren't many bands that I have loved so much, so consistently, for so long as Built to Spill. They have never released an album that is anything less than excellent.
