It's really hard to say, because that song in particular is actually on their most minimal album in their discography. There really aren't any others on that one that match it's intensity. I'd say either Ágætis Byrjun or Takk are the best starting albums for them.
Unfortunately for Ween, the standard ace in the hole that could always be used to convince the non-believer -- a live performance by Ween -- is no longer to be had. You'd never know what Ween really sounds like unless you watched them play for a couple hours.
Sadly, it's looking like the same can be said of Sonic Youth. You would totally understand Sonic Youth if you saw them play.
A Phish fan who hasn't listened to the Dead is doing it wrong.
I know, I know. I only have From the Mars Hotel, and I only bought that one because Animal Collective sampled it. They're at the top of my list of bands to get into along with the Residents, but I've just been so deep in the classics and some quality 2012 releases lately. It will happen very soon.

I would recommend Takk... in this situation. It's their most electric/least acoustic album, and probably their most consistantly upbeat as well. Sounds like what fox is looking for.
Music message boards were created so pretentious music fans can revel in how great their taste in music is because they are Radiohead fans. If you already have great taste in music without "listening" to Radiohead, why start now?
On the other hand, if you are a Muse fan who has never listened to Radiohead, you're doing it wrong.
And if you've never listened to Led Zeppelin, face palm.

Not a muse fan and definitely don't fall into the belt sander category.
So what does it mean if I've listened to Radiohead and don't much care for their music? I also (horror of horrors) disliked their Coachella performance.
Of course, I'm not sure whether I have good taste in music or not either.
