Started listening to Loincloth and Black Breath right after I saw the show announcement in Bellingham (Sunn O))), Black Breath, Loincloth). I don't own any Sunn O))) otherwise I would be listening to them as well. This show is going to be out of control. I see they are coming through Seattle too but no Black Breath on that date. Anyways, \M/

Parkway Drive are one of few metalcore bands that don't bore me after a few listens. The new album sounds alright from what I've heard.

The new Portal album is what I would imagine getting sucked into a tornado sounds like. Extremely punishing stuff. If you're into Immolation, Deathspell Omega, or Blut Aus Nord, check this shit out.

That's some brutal shit. To the trained ear it is much more than that though. I see their album is released on Profound Lore. This is a reminder that I need to stay up to date on their releases. So much amazing underground metal comes from that label.

YES! Which is exactly why I lumped them in with the bands I did. Lots and lots of layers and brilliant song writing underneath that brutality.
