Topic Summary

A lot of us still purchase music, which is totally awesome but can still lead to some regretful buys.

Instead of trading them back in I thought it might be pretty sweet for us to post which ones we don’t like and if someone on the board likes it then they can post that they want the album and then PM the person looking to dish off the album with their address.

Yes, there will be shipping prices involved for the shipper, but that’s the price we pay for being awesome people.

We can also do this for duplicate records we want to see in the hands of people who will definitely enjoy them.

Since this is meant to spread cheer, happiness, and the wonderful gift of mail within our community I say we only allow those with more than 100 posts to participate in the free receiving of vinyl process.

Thoughts?

I'd be down for this. I doubt I'd be willing to sell any of mine right now since I'm just starting my collection, but I'll be interested in buying for sure.

No buying! They MUST be free. Good deeds will pay for themselves is the whole idea.

Oh well then I have a Kenny Rogers record that I could do without.

Good idea. Not calling anyone out here, but FD sent an album intended for me to another boarder, an album I had stolen from me years ago. I think it changed hands a couple times. I still don't know who has it? Maybe I forgot I have it? It's funny it is awol, like my old copy.

I'm in. I have around 4 extra copies of Fleetwood Mac - "Rumors". I bet I could get rid of one of them without my girlfriend noticing.

I haven't started my vinyl collection yet, but I'd love for Rumors to be my first...

I gave that to Gibbons but he left it at my house. Next time I see you I'll have it in my bag.

If you have one to give I will gladly accept it for free. I will listen to anything three or four or five times.

I'm really more of a trader than a giver when it comes to precious artifacts like records, and wouldn't you know it I happen to have an extra unopened copy of Zach Hill's Face Tat sitting right next to me waiting to blow some skulls. It's a pretty intense psychadelic journey through time and space and beats. HG did give me that awesome A Journey to Happiness Island record, so if you want this one Gramma, you got first dibs.
