Sweet-ass green vinyl mastered at 45rpm? Mmmmmhmm. Listened to that shit over the weekend, sounds so damn good. Seriously I'd pay twice as much for 2xLP sets of standard-length albums mastered at 45rpm, especially when it's shit that's more uptempo like Primus or this Caribou record that I got the other day. It makes a surprising difference in sound quality.

Yeah dude, it was my first time listening to this album. Prior to yesterday I only owned Sailing The Seas Of Cheese and that is the only Primus album I knew. I agree with the 2xLP standard length albums mastered at 45rpm. My copy of In Rainbows is like that and it is so tasty.

Went to Sonic Boom today and picked up:

Torche - Harmonicraft (vinyl)
RGC - 3 (vinyl)
Dr. Dre - The Chronic 2001 (used CD)
Paul Simon - Graceland (used CD)

When I got home I had a package in the mail from Graveface Records. I was on the Record Club with them for the last couple of rounds and thought my membership had to be renewed. Nice surprise! The package came with:

Serengeti - Saal (vinyl/CD)
Gramma's Boyfriend - The Human Eye (vinyl)
Toman - Postrockhits Volume II (vinyl)

And by 'probably', what I mean is that we were up until 4:00am playing Mario and listening to Kraftwerk.

Plus greatest Disney Hits, Snow White, some kind of album with just different kinds of birdcalls, and something called Superseal solely because the album art is incredible. Pictures to come. All LPs.
