Some new vinyl I picked up over the last few weeks...

Lagwagon - Putting Music In It's Place (Vinyl boxset with their first five albums)
Pearl Jam - VS. / Vitalogy Deluxe Box Set (A thing of absolute beauty for a PJ fan. Well worth the money).
Love and Rockets - Seventh Dream of Teenage Heaven
Sex Pistols - Nevermind the Bollocks
The Smashing Pumpkins - Gish
The Smashing Pumpkins - Pisces Iscariot
The Only Ones - The Only Ones
Rage Against the Machine - XX (Picture Disc)
The National - The Virginia EP
Whitehorse - The Fate Of The World Depends On This Kiss
Swans - The Seer
Radiohead - OK Computer
U2 - The Joshua Tree
Yo La Tengo - Fade

Damn, black, that is a fucking sweet haul.

Thanks. There were a couple of real bargains in there. I got that Lagwagon boxset from a local record store for $60 on boxing day, and the Sex Pistols and Love and Rockets were only $4.00 each. I'm still waiting for The National to come in the mail though. I haven't even heard that album yet.

You must be a big Lagwagon fan. I have a strong feeling they will be on every festival lineup this year. You'll get to see them more than you want to.

That is an evil fucking album!

It's kind of the most evil album he's ever recorded under any name. It gives me the willies.

I am a big Lagwagon fan. They are one of the only punk bands from my youth that I have hung onto. Joey Cape is a great singer, and as a band, they are musically solid. Their live shows are a lot of fun and I would have no issues seeing them on a couple of lineups.

My final haul from Easy Street last night and probably my last for a long time:

Bjork - The Inner or Deep Part of an Animal or Plant Structure [DVD]
Circle - Manner
God's Pee - 'Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend!
Pete Swanson - Man with Potential
Yo La Tengo - Painful
Yo La Tengo - Popular Songs

FUCK YES TO MUSIC

Silversun Pickups - Pikul

CD:

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - The Heist
Yo La Tengo - Fade
Erin McKeown - We Will Become Like Birds
Bis - Intendo
Tinsel - The Lead Shoes
The 88 - The 88
The Weakerthans - Left & Leaving
Doves - The Last Broadcast
DFA Compilation #2 (3CD)
Matador Records Everything Is Nice 10th Anniversary Anthology

How much was everything discounted yesterday?
Posted by NO LOVE DEEP BJORRITO on Jan 19, 2013, 3:07pm
20% off new, 40% off used.
Posted by Pea on Jan 19, 2013, 3:09pm
Man, when Borders was phasing out their music department they sold everything for 50% off. I made out big time when that happened. I guess it's different with Easy Street since they can just move the leftovers to the other location. It'll be a sad sad day if/when the west location closes. Maybe they would just expand the cafe into the CD side?

They recently signed a 15-year lease over there, thankfully.

Jesus. That's kind of scary actually. I can't even imagine what the music business will look like in 15 years.

Went to Easy Street today in W. Seattle (I guess that may have been obvious which one I went to) and picked up Daphni - Jiaolong. I didn't listen to this album until after picking it up and I gotta say this needs to happen at Sasquatch! So rad.

Dude, I've been looking all over for that. Of course it's at the wicked Easy Street of the west.
