HG: I was at a records store yesterday and they had 2 residents albums used. Subterranean Modern and Animal Lover. Do you have these vinyls? If not, do you want them?

Fuck yes to that Subterranean Modern. Quite a find, there. How much was it?

I already gots me an Animal Lover, though. I'd suggest picking it up for yourself if it weren't the very least suitable entry point imaginable for the Residents.

Damn I can't remember but I will go down there and check it out. I will snag it if it is not crazy expensive and then I can either mail it to you or I will give it to Burrito before he goes to hang with you guys in Portland.

Most excellent dude, thank you very much. It's not super-duper rare -- so I can't imagine it's TOO spendy -- but I've never come across one personally.

Subterranean Modern is actually a split with MX-80 Sound, Chrome and Tuxedomoon. Strange little disc; each group gets three tracks, and all four bands start their section with a cover of 'I Left My Heart in San Francisco'. Grab it if you can and I'll send cash back up with Burrito when he leaves Portland.

That No Spill Blood album ended up working so that is good news!

Spent the weekend in Ballard and hit up Sonic Boom Records after a bloody mary infused morning. Picked up:

Killer Mike - R.A.P. Music (vinyl)
Permanent Collection - Newly Wed Nearly Dead (vinyl)
Ty Segall Band - Slaughterhouse (vinyl)

Left yourself wide open for that one. Don't think for a minute that I don't enjoy reading the word 'vaginer', because I do.
