Strangely I completely overlooked Blur on that lineup the first five times I looked at it. It doesn't do much to change my opinion of the lineup, but Blur is in my top ten bands to see and there's no denying that is really fucking exciting. I think I am just surprised that Coachella has forgone their usual razzle-dazzle (or more likely had it snatched away at the last second).

Headliners are weak as hell, but it's still a great lineup for me. Saturday is going to be a complete clusterfuck of conflicts for me. The secondary market for tickets is going to shoot up again on Tuesday when the tickets sell out within 2 hours. They'll go down again in late March/April

Seriously. While we're talking punx, it looks like this band Deathfix is a new project from Brendan Canty of the legendary Fugazi - who probably told Coachella to fuck off. My 16 year old self wants to attend this festival.
