I hear Lou is good if you dig LuLu without the Metallica, which is exactly what I dig. |

okay, now that the initial shock of actually getting the lineup has warn off, here's my feeling 18 hours later....

Strangely I completely overlooked Blur on that lineup the first five times I looked at it. It doesn't do much to change my opinion of the lineup, but Blur is in my top ten bands to see and there's no denying that is really fucking exciting. I think I am just surprised that Coachella has forgone their usual razzle-dazzle (or more likely had it snatched away at the last second).

"Wiki it"
"No I don't care"
What? Then why ask the question, you brain-dead waste of space?!

| Quick note on Rodriguez, since this thread will very soon turn into tell me who I should see, he's a 70 year old folk singer who put out two albums 40 years ago. He didn't become famous until 20 years later, at which point I'm pretty sure he wasn't even still a musician. There's a pretty crazy story about how he became famous, and a documentary about it, but I don't recall the whole story. He still only has those two proper studio albums, and there are some really interesting songs on there. He's sort of the Mexican Cat Stevens, and had a really smooth voice 40 years ago. Who knows what he sounds like now, but he's also worth 15 minutes of your time at Coachella. He'll probably be the oldest dude there. |

| Headliners are weak as hell, but it's still a great lineup for me. Saturday is going to be a complete clusterfuck of conflicts for me. The secondary market for tickets is going to shoot up again on Tuesday when the tickets sell out within 2 hours. They'll go down again in late March/April |

He's sort of a big deal, and a complete lunatic live. He's worth at least 15 minutes of your time at Coachella. |

This is the reunion that Coachella missed out on.

| Seriously. While we're talking punx, it looks like this band Deathfix is a new project from Brendan Canty of the legendary Fugazi - who probably told Coachella to fuck off. My 16 year old self wants to attend this festival. |

You bet your ass I will. He's even older than Rodriguez. Who was it who said a couple pages back that Coachella's target audience is early 20s? |

| I guess maybe I need to look at this lineup in a different way. It's harddddd. |
