Definitely no main stage EDM though eh Pea? They aren't throwing Bassnectar out there

Thumbs up to Sigur Ros, Grizzly Bear, Modest Mouse, Lou Reed, Four Tet, Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, Purity Ring, Wu-Tang Clan, Thee of Sees, Spiritualized and James Blake (only 5 of which I haven't already seen). But yeah, relatively speaking, a bit of a pooper. Although, there won't be a lineup that comes even close to touching that Primavera shit. Sasquatch, however, does have a chance to rival Coachella this year though, especially if Pea's source is correct.

I recognize I'm in the minority here, but I'll take this year's headliner crop over last year's.

RHCP > Dre and Snoop; Phoenix > Black Keys; Blur and Stone Roses playing classic shit > Radiohead playing new shit

The lack of massive EDM names on the second line is a big change from last year. I wonder if that was intentional or they actually think Social D is a bigger draw than Pretty Lights and Eric Prydz.

Overall it's a decent lineup, but like nick said it doesn't blow me away like previous Coachella lineups have. Probably not worth the money and vacation time for me.

I wonder if They'll put Bassnectar on the outdoor stage or if we'll have to do the glowpocalypse in the Sahara.

And I'm with Stamper - Biffy Clyro 2.0! I think we all know where we're going to meet up...

Also, I am now really fucking scared that the XX appear to be big enough to headline Sasquatch. They are billed above Sigur Ros and the Postal Service. Oh man, I might skip Sasquatch out of spite if that happened.

THIS. They're billed second on Saturday. What. The. Fuck.

If the XX do play Sasquatch, I hope they are at least a subheadliner for SRO playing the music of Stars of the Lid, otherwise known as the "free wallets for anyone showing up late" combo.

RHCP without John? Better than Dre and Snoop on stage together?

?

I totally agree that Sunday doesn't stack up with the rest of the days. For Catherine, this is a major plus --- as she'll be catatonic from about 11AM until 5PM on sunday.

This is shitty for Coachella. I can't help but think that there was a bigger name intended in place of Phoenix (DP, Rolling Stones), and I think Phoenix is in that zone where they could be the sub-headliner if one of those big acts pulls a Prince 2007.

I think I'm most disappointed that The Knife won't be there, but Pea's news about them maybe hopefully being at Sasquatch relieves that disappointment. Still, there are a lot of bands I've never seen and will be thrilled to see (Sigur Ros, Hot Chip, Nick Cave, WU TANG), many bands that I've seen but am excited to see again (YYYs, Modest Mouse, Grizzly Bear, Vampire Weekend), and a few bands that I am going to have to work on but I think I will like (Blur, Stone Roses, New Order...basically everything Stamper loves).

There is a serious chance, now, that Sasquatch will be as good or better.

Is now too early to try to convince womp he'll like Nick Cave/Grinderman even though we know he'll hate it, then we'll be surprised when he comes back and says he actually likes it, and everyone looks at each like, "I didn't see that coming."

Really happy to see OMD on there.

I'm not a fan of Nick Cave at all.
