wow, that is awesome indeed. Who knew it was that easy to ascend to geno-hood. Although I feel I must warn you, San Diego burritos are best enjoyed when they are accompanied with an appropriate beverage. Corona will suffice, but Modelo Negra is the brew of choice.

And I will fully expect that if I provide the burritos, you will provide the brews. I'm even willing to up the ante and provide a range of burritos including what San Diego calls the California Burrito If you haven't experienced its awesomeness, all you need to know is that IT INCLUDES FRENCH FRIES IN THE BURRITO.

Absolutely. Although, you should know that I'll only have 2 days on either side of the festival for driving, so it's going to be a pretty brutal drive.

And if you're going to swing over to I-5 it's a long drive...
Posted by Souly on Nov 19, 2012, 12:21am
I did it last year!
Posted by J-Dawg on Nov 19, 2012, 12:23am
I know you did, but you have to realize it's at least 12 hours out of the way (round trip) as compared to the snoozefest of I-15

J-Dawg and I are bro-ing our badasses up from San Diego! That is all I know so far.

Also, Souly, I might beg you to drive my tent down if you happen to swing through Seattle :)

I can provide a tent if it's just you and you want to share one. We can Dr. Garbanzoure it out after January when lahey weighs in

That could work too! I'm just really in love with my instant tent haha.

Dealio. I did manage to consume 3 "California" burritos on my return trip from Coachella last year, but they were all from L.A. and northward. Although they were tasty, I've been jonesin' for that San Diego treat ever since.

Albuquerque-Seattle in 24 hours by myself. ;D

Catherine and I will be doing the same thing we did last year... Getting into Los Angeles a couple days early, then driving out to the festival on Thursday.

We've also considered flying into San Francisco, as neither of us have ever been there... it really depends on flight costs. We'll see.

Stamper - If ya'll do SF before Coachella, I'll happily donate my car. It's a Rav4, so plenty of room for three of us and our stuff. I haven't met either of you but since when has that been a problem, right?

I can leave on Thursday sometime, and it's about an eight hour drive from here.

I'm done with the Thursday drive from LAX, I will be probably flying into the Palm Springs airport this year on Thursday and heading in.

My group has three camping spots. If anyone is in dire straits we could fit you in
