I've always been considering it, but it really is going to come down to the lineup vs. Bonnaroo's lineup. |

Does the average Coachella goer even know who AfP are? At least everyone knows that "Woo Hoo" song. |

The average Coachella goer loves anything Thom Yorke does. It seemed far fetched they could headline Coachella, but I'm more open to that idea than most speculated headliners. Atoms for Peace are a rare get, and L.A. goes bat shit crazy for Thom Yorke. Blur is not a Coachella headliner. |

| I would bet that the average Coachella goer DOES know who Atoms for Peace is, and if they don't, a little research would lead them to find out that it's a side project of one of modern music festivals' favorite artists. Even the most uninformed Coachella attendee has made some sort of an effort to expand their taste in music beyond top 40 radio, so a high billing for them wouldn't really surprise me at all. |

That's what makes it weird to me is that said favourite band of the festival would headline the previous year and then Thom's side project would headline the next year.
That and I can't think of a headliner in the last few years that would make the average radio listener say 'who?'
Then again I don't live in California so maybe they are a much bigger deal down there. |

| For the record, I don't think they would be a headliner. Definitely sub. |

| That fake poster must have been made by a canadian because Metric and Tegan and Sara shouldn't be billed that high. |

| Which is exactly what they played at Coachella 2010. The full band is more or less a progression of that project. |
