| Unless Phoenix's new album comes out real early in 2013 and explodes more than Foster the People's album did, I can't see them being headliner matierial..... subheadliner absolutley. Nobody really knew who they were until 2009 and they've been too quiet since. Black Keys at least kept pumping out albums and Arcade Fire did the same while winning some grammys as well. |

| I never forgave myself for not going when NIN was here. I'd be stoked if they were at Coachella. |

Okay, let's make sense of the madness, funnygrrl style...
Who could headline and Who won't headline???
Potential Headliners - (Even If They're Long Shots) Pearl Jam Soundgarden NIN Neil Young Prince Jay-Z (solo or with Kanye) Red Hot Chili Peppers Outkast Tool
Sub Headliners Who Could, Potentially, Maybe Headline Yeah Yeah Yeahs Phoenix Vampire Weekend Blur
Can't Be There Due to Conflicts - Screw You, We Didn't Want You Anyway the Killers Mumford & Sons Mu.se
These Guys Cost Too Damn Much - Even for Coachella (Mostly Likely) The Rolling Stones
Never Gonna Happen, Just Let It Go David Bowie Daft Punk
feel free to make edits/contribute... |

| I would be very very very happy if Solange Knowles was there. I'm going to go out on a limb and say her that if her new EP sounds like her new song, it will be my favorite release of the year. |

| Daft Punk is more likely than ever before. I wouldn't rule them out 100% |

I think of this as "100 times more likely than 0% is still 0%." |

I'm just fucking around.
Seriously though, until this mysterious release date thing is actually confirmed as a release date and not just some "One More Time" 3D pyramid rave movie, I wouldn't start getting my hopes up. |

| I really don't think that there's anyone that Coachella can't afford. It's more along the lines of how much they Dr. Garbanzoure an act is justifiably worth. |

So if Daft Punk doesn't play Coachella, that's basically a guarantee for Sasquatch, right?
Logical. |

I remember CoS speculating that Sasquatch might have snagged Daft Punk in 2011 after they ended up not being on the Coachella bill.
