Weekend 1 and camping. I also think I successfully convinced JDawg and Saranater to camp as well.

You missed some shenanigans after the fact, but I can confirm J-Dawg for car camping weekend 1.

How much are plane tickets to Coachella from Portland usually?

Most who fly into the area have to pay rental car fees on top of flight fees, yet they save on gas money. I have friends in Medford, San Jose, and Desert Springs, so I'll be staying there Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights, which is why I won't meet up with any of you.

However, if you can find a boarder to pick you up at the airport, and let you camp with them for the weekend, I can give you a ride back to Portland after the festival for free. We'll have to stop in San Jose Monday night to BBQ with my homie, and you'll have to drive the next day so I can get sauced, but it's an option.

THIS. Coachella can be a long drive. And wonk is a stand-up guy. If this works for you, message him.

I don't just buy tickets to a festival before the lineup is announced, all willy-nilly. Who do I look like, Montgomery Burns? I ain't no money bags.

If Daft Punk plays I will go to weekend 2.

What the shit? The bill was paid. Did it turn into another drugs and grilled cheese sandwiches night at Womp's place again????

hahahaha, we definitely stayed for a few more rounds. It got a little out of hand. I don't think I got home until 2ish.

I'm just on my way into work now. Only 4 hours late. Good times.

If you're buying tickets today, make sure you have an account set up with Front Gate Tickets before hand. It will save some time.

Good luck everyone, be patient, we got this. MAH FUCKER WE ROLLIN

Last year, I waited two days before buying in the presale and consequently didn't have to deal with any of that horrible waiting room stuff people were talking about. I just logged in, bought tickets and was on my way.

Does anyone here think the presale for weekend 1 might sell out this year or that it's necessary to be buying 'em today?
Posted by stamper on May 17, 2012, 10:30am
yeah, i dunno. i'm still debating if i'm going to do the presale at all.
