Dookie fucking rules.

Regarding the question of remembering; when it comes to CD's, tracklists, concert dates, venues, setlists, festival lineups (even the ones I didn't attend) etc. I seem to remember it all. Not sure how, but that's how it goes for me.

Must be the music geek in all of us.

I think my Aunt (she is only like 8 years older than me) got me this on the double-cassette release. Probably the first album I ever had.

Already been discussed at length, but I explicitly remember waiting to get on the bus to go home during 3rd grade listening to track 3 I think it was where it was talking about medication or something.

I fucking loved this album. Like none other. "I Just Wanna See" was my summer anthem for probably 2-3 years.

I can't remember if I got this one of Licensed to Ill first, but I fucking loved the Beastie Boys. I once waited for weeks (prior to getting the albums) for my favorite radio station to play "Girls" so I could record it on a cassette.

I was probably 9 when I took a trip down to North Carolina or somewhere in the God-forbidden South to visit my crazy Polish Uncle Johnny. Not only did my cousin who lived there have the biggest, baddest, lego collection in the fucking world, he also loved this song that summer. And got me hooked on it. I think my Dad must have been drunk when I convinced him to order me this album from his CD Club magazine (REMEMBER THOSE?) because it is definitely inappropriate for somebody who was my age. And all the other songs fucking sucked anyways.

Fucking awesome CD.

Holy shit Dr. Garbanzo, I totally bought Hello Nasty before the last 2 on my list! Can't believe I forgot that. Actually, yes I can.

My NOFX album cover didn't work until the 3rd link I tried...weird.

Fuck I love this thread.

ALBUMS I STOLE FROM MY PARENTS AND LOVED:

I loved Paula Cole. I've always been a sensitive boy...

I know ever word to every song on this CD. The best part is that when I scratched up my mom's copy of it, I just took it and put the scratched CD in my dad's case for it and kept his unscathed version for myself.

I once was filming some sort of humorous (read: fucking stupid) video which included a mock tour of my house. I was pretty young, and looked even more stupid than whatever it was that I was trying to accomplish with this video but the intro was composed of me playing the first track to Flood while stroking my chin thoughtfully and staring into the distance. Yep.

Yeah, The Globe is probably my all-time favorite CD. Look at how fucking British they are!
