I saw them open for Barenaked Ladies when Lost and Gone Forever was out. I loved it so much I went and bought it and got them to sign it between sets. I love that album a lot. I like their other stuff, too, but that is my favorite. The hand drums are so kickass.

If I had a million dollars, I'd buy a Guster cd.

Haven't you always wanted a Guster?

I saw Guster when they opened for Stroke 9 with Vertical Horizon.

This was back in the nineteen-nineties.

...and then I saw them about a dozen more times. Those guys knew me and my little brother by name after a couple years.

I caught a Decemberists set list scribbled on a paper plate that was tossed following their set at that amphitheater in Bend, OR. I looked at it for a bit then crumbled it up and tossed it in the grass.

Great story, Mark Chud!

So I did a little detectivr work and found that Mark is a character in the film The Room. Having never seen the film I don't get the reference. Oh well.

You're missing out on one of the greatest bad films of all time.

And if you haven't seen it, check out the classic Nostalgia Critic review of it. Aside from the awkward forced internet cameos, it's hilarious.
