PEOPLEZ. Please provide album names so I don't have to do unnecessary homework.

EDIT: Zammuto by Zammuto.

and Spooky Action at a Distance by Lotus Plaza.

I just heard a bit of that Lotus Plaza album today, but for the life of me I can't remember if I enjoyed it or not. I suppose I'll go back for another listen.

You enjoyed it. I'm sure of this.

Haha, we shall see!

In addition to Father John Misty (which I added yesterday), I've gotta add the new Beach House to my list. That album is what dream are made of. Teenage hipster girl dreams...mind you...according to wompwomp ;)

Loops of Your Heart - And Never Ending Nights

Almost forgot this was a 2012 release. It's chill as fuck.

Might as well put Black Dice - Mr. Impossible on there too, because there is no foreseeable way I will be listening to anything else and not enjoying the shit out that album come next week.

Santigold - Master of My Make-Belief --- LOVE IT!

Updated!

I also added the new Sigur Ros and Niki & the Dove to my list. Anyone interested in a beautifully smart dance pop album should definitely look into Niki & the Dove! It's like "All Hour Cymbals" era Yeasayer with elements of Fever Ray sprinkled in. I'm totally in love with it.

Damn, that's a pretty serious recommendation. I'll have to check that out.

Check it, dude!

That sounds fucking rad. I'm going to check that out.

I'm sure at least someone will say I was way off with my comparison, but that's just what I hear when I listen to it. I suppose Bat for Lashes might be another good comparison.

Here's another track off the album:

Yeah thought I was going to hate it. But 10 or so listens in, I have to add Jack White - Blunderbuss. It's not a prefect album, but I love 85% of it, and that's good enough for me.

Updated!

The new Japandroids leaked today (pretty good timing, right Rusty??) and is sounded damn awesome. I can see that getting added to my list soon.

Said it before, but I'm gonna say it again... the new Santigold album is incredible.

Literally all I have so far, although it'll expand soon enough:

1. The Fifty Year Storm The The New Law
2. Strange Land Yellow Ostrich
3. Reign of Terror Sleigh Bells

Still to come: Japandroids, Passion Pit, Dan Deacon, Jack White, whatever I find at Sasquatch

End of the month update:

1. King Con Alex Winston
2. The Fifty Year Storm The The New Law
3. Strange Land Yellow Ostrich
4. Blunderbuss Jack White
5. Reign of Terror Sleigh Bells

Will get on the Japandroids leak soon enough, maybe. Same albums as above apply plus Avalanches (????) and Santigold. I saw Passion Pit a few weeks ago and they played some new stuff, it has potential.
