You only get five options. We're already hipster enough, so no bitching that your favorite is actually Danste Manatee.
We talk about Animal Collective all the time, and people always think their favorite is so underrated. This may (should) prove otherwise... |

Sung Tongs.
A tossup between that and Feels, but it goes to Sung Tongs at this point because I've spent a bit more time with it. Who Could Win a Rabbit is probably still my favorite AC song, followed closely by Winters Love. One of the things that really grabs me about them is the sound of Avey and Panda's voices together, especially when they're doing weird things with their voices. Sung Tongs has some of, IMO, the best examples of this (out of these five), We Tigers being my favorite example of this. |

| ...And its not letting me vote for some reason. |

| So if I'm a baby, what do I vote? |

Not letting me vote either.
I'd say Strawberry Jam. I'm not sure who said it but it's the perfect balance between accessibility and experimentation for me. |

| Man I like so many for so many different reasons but I have an important emotional connection to Sung Tongs. |

| i thought about it and my list is just backwards chronologically. I guess I should be really excited about their next album then? |

You'll give their next one 8.8, tops. It'll be weirder and less poppy and you'll spend the whole review comparing it to MPP. |

| I really wouldn't bet against pitchfork's love of Animal Collective. It's like they've staked their reputation on the band so they can't allow them to be insulted |

Feels, Sung Tongs and Strawberry Jam are all way too good in so many different ways. Impossible to pick which is better, I cycle through each one and deem that particular one my favorite while it has been chosen for that particular cycle.
Right now, Feels is the best. |
