By the way, I'm guessing I'm the only one on the board who has listened to Travis Barker's new album? As far as enjoyable albums go, this is probably top ten for me.

PS: He's the drummer for Blink 182.

The Album was pretty good Know, I liked it a lot. I think he is a pretty good producer. I feel like the album could have been hyped up a bit more though. I didn't know of its release until a week after the fact.

So the high school kid is the only board member who has listened to this album. I guess that makes sense.

I do believe you hip hop fans will be pleasantly surprised by it, so fbelt sander me and give it a listen.

Anything with a sharp a I really draw out, words like "car" or "bar" I turn into "caaar" or "baaar".

My newfie friends are the experts at this after about 2 beers. After 2 or 3 more they start speaking a completely different language.

I still am overcome with disbelief trying to imagine Travis Barker in the Aquabats.

I hope I become known as the High School kid.

avclub's list of best albums of the year is pretty stellar in my opinion. Not sure I agree with number 1 though

That list is fucking terrible!

Can someone explain the whole Fucked Up thing? Why do music critics try so hard to make me think they are good? Fucked Up are TERRIBLE.

And Britney Spears? Come on

Fucked Up has never done anything for me either. I'm pretty sure there are a few diehard fans on this board though.
Posted by Cbats on Dec 6, 2011, 2:30pm
I'm not sure that there are many die hard fans on the board but I'm a fan. I can't really make it through all of Life of David at one time because it's a little too much for me but seeing them live this summer was absolutely awesome.

I'm not into that Fucked Up music.
Posted by Pea on Dec 6, 2011, 2:50pm
That's Fucked Up.

Fucked Up are great. Live and on album.

The ordering on their list is all kinds of bizarre. I appreciate the song samples though. Gives me a chance to quickly check out a few that I haven't heard before.
