Well if it's any consolation the only time I saw them headline was pretty fucking awful, and I would wager that Deloused in the Comatorium has been equally important to you and I. Their best performance that I saw was opening for System of a Down. They absolutely blew SOAD out of the water that night.
That does make me feel better. I saw them on that tour in Seattle and that was my first experience. So fucking good. Empty thanks for keeping my head up. I am going to now go drink and spin all of their vinyl. Have a good evening
Oh no, now who will throw cymbals into the crowd at the main stage?!
No really, I love some of their albums to death, this is fucking tragic. Kinski is now my only hope.
I am not going to try and defend the cymbals into the crowd thing because I have heard that from all angles on this forum. I do agree that Kinski is rad but I don't get why you bring that up.
Yeah, dude, like I have zero love for the Mars Volta but I kind of snapped for a week or so after Ween broke up. That was hard times. I get it; I'm sorry.
Fuckin' yah! Anyone ever watch Fishing With John, where John Lurie went on fishing trips all over the world with people like Tom Waits and Jim Jarmusch and Dennis Hopper and they'd sit on the boat and bullshit and stuff? This sounds like that, except with two of the greatest musicians alive today. I SUPPORT THIS.
