According to Burrito, the launch party performance was pretty fucking terrible too. After listening to their album and watching some videos, I refused to go to the launch party with him. When he got home he told not going was a good choice, so it must've been pretty damn bad. |

| The only Das Racist performance I ever saw was at Sasquatch with the Seattle Rock Orchestra. They sounded great. I've heard from just about anyone ever that they were usually a shitshow onstage, but whatever. Their records were incredible. |

I was told going into the Death Grips show that their merch situation had become dire. I was worried that neither Burrito nor myself would be able to purchase t-shirts with photographs of erect penises on them. At least not in an adult size.
Fortunately for us, this proved not to be the case. Fortunate for us, yes, but unfortunate for Portland at large. |

| It was the second time in my life that purchasing pizza from someone scared the living fuck out of me. I tipped her $10 because I felt so rotten that she had to face us wackjobs. Truth is, we probably made her night. |

Utterly real. As was the bus ride back with Burrito's dick shirt being the first thing people saw as they boarded. Officially the most belligerent I have ever been on a bus. |
