I enjoy AC but I saw Panda Bear at Pitchfork in 2010 and went into a coma.

I don't know maybe it is just because of his placing that day. It went from Jon Spencer Blues Explosion -> Wolf Parade -> Panda bear -> LCD Soundsystem

It just felt out of place outside on a bright sunny day

I wish I would have seen Panda outside in the sun and Animal Collective inside in the dark rather than vice versa.

I wish I would have seen Animal Collective...ever. Maybe this time around :)

THERE ARE NO MAYBES IN ANIMAL COLLECTIVE.
Posted by badchoices on May 15, 2012, 10:53am
Ok, scratch that. Next time I WILL be seeing Animal Collective.

Maybes don't like Animal Collective, they're maybes.

I can't handle them live. I just can't. I respect the hell out of them and enjoy their albums, but that style of psychedelic jamming that they perform is just too taxing for me to enjoy. I have a feeling I wouldn't have enjoyed Godspeed at Coachella either, but given my mindset it was absolutely incredible. I'm sure I would totally dig an A.C. set if I approached it the same way.

You should see my band. Not.

Does your band play any shows in the near future?
Posted by NO LOVE DEEP BJORRITO on May 15, 2012, 11:24am
Still working on the visual side of our show before we unleash the fury upon the masses. I will definitely let you know when we do, though. I'm currently trying to get a digital copy of our first film online to show y'all.
