I don't see myself in there but I could be below the camera level. I was up pretty close to the barriers. I've got a lot of respect for ORL and I felt bad for him during the whole set, but yeah that Cedric fucker made it a pretty shitty experience.

I actually enjoyed Scab Dates very much. Especially the parts where Cedric shut up. There are some instrumental moments on here that would be pretty fucking insane to see performed in front of your face. Why didn't they place like this at Sasquatch?

^^^
I am not sure what was going on at Sasquatch. There was some tension within the band it appeared and it was right before Thomas Pridgen was "let go". I think it was really shitty timing and Cedric didn't handle it like a professional. I am a Cedric fan and I thought he was being stupid.

I am glad you enjoyed Scab Dates. There are some pretty face melting spots in there. Did you see Get Him To The Greek? That is pretty funny they put a snippet in that movie

I rarely watch movies and when I do I forget about them. Unless it's like, Office Space or something.

But anywhoo; I'm going to that Omar show with you. I need to see this man do his thing without that other angry man crowding his airspace. Which makes, what, 5 concerts we'll be seeing together so far in the coming season? Good times are to be had.

For sure, I was just looking at that show and realized our tix are at a booth. Not sure if we will be able to sit at the show next to you or not (I have never been to the triple door before) but either way blazing before and after is a must

Oh shit, I didn't realize it was at the Triple Door. I vowed never to go there again. I'm in a pickle here.

Some call it Math-Rock, Post-Rock, Noise-Rock, and/or Experimental. I call it, plain and simply, beautiful. You can call it whatever you want once you give it a spin.

The band is Dilute.

The brain child of a Fremont, CA native by the name of Marty Anderson, Dilute is one of those bands that has grown in popularity (among what is probably still a small crowd) following their demise.

The album is Live

This set was recorded live from S.F.'s Bottom of the Hill and released as a split with Hella in 2003. The album is composed of five tracks two of which are located on previously recorded studio efforts (Track 1: Apple and Track 2: Alphabet both appear on the bands highly acclaimed sophomore album "Grape Blueprints Pour Olive Spinach Grape" which I highly, highly, recommend.)

Enjoy, or don't, I'm just fulfilling an obligation that I agreed to.

Pavement Sasquatch sets: At least they aren't Mars Volta Sasquatch sets.

Guess I should listen to both of these soon, so I actually have the right to post mine next week.

I like both of those sets :)

You're probably the only person in the world who liked both of those sets.

I liked them both. You guys who thought the Mars Volta sucked are especially nuts. That's what happens when a bunch of stoners and hippies are waiting to see a U.F.O., but are subjected to rockers freaking the fuck out. Then they're all like, "whaaa?"

Pssh. Noise-based music is one of my primary interests. I've even listened to the Mars Volta, even though I hated them. Between that Storm Thorgerson album art and Pitchfork -- back when I susceptible to Pitchfork's wiles -- I was talked into spending $18.99 on a copy of De-Loused in the Comatorium at Best Buy. I have rarely been so regretful of a purchase.

I may be a stoner, but I'm not a hippie -- as far as I'm concerned, there was no artistic merit to that set whatsoever.

I love rockers freaking the fuck out. I thought that set was really fucking agro and negative and I did not hear anything of value to me. Being a stoner should have helped.
