Pink Floyd will happen eventually. It will be Gilmour Floyd -- Waters wouldn't go anywhere near them -- but it'll happen.

We have a different definition of "Pink Floyd." I don't think Waters/Gilmore Floyd will ever happen again. A Watersless Pink Floyd is no Pink Floyd I would want to see (although I would be totally there).

Nah we can agree on that. Waters/Gilmore Floyd is an opportunity that was lost right around the time I was born. The crappy adult contemporary Floyd that was a touring entity in the early 90's (Division Bell, Delicate Sound of Thunder) for a while is something that I still hold out hope for just because it'd be 'close enough'. I'd just die to see The Wall, but I'd almost even prefer what's left of Pink Floyd just because it seems somehow (don't laugh) less indulgent.

I'm going to settle on this list for now:

3. Daft Punk
4. Pulp
5. Portishead

Although, Soundgarden was on the list for the last couple years, and technically should still be since I won't see them for a couple weeks.
