Damn...that would be sick. Hope they come up to Canada.

Pretty Lights and Shadow would be worth it alone

I would drive up there for this.

The fact that Steve Aoki is billed higher than Crystal Method makes me want to burn down an orphanage.

Seriously, what the hell? I didn't even see Crystal Method waaay down there at the bottom of the lineup and that's the only name on there that's worth half a shit.

This is true. Aoki = facepalm. Besides him though it looks muy bueno

Crystal Method has only been performing DJ sets lately it seems. They've played a couple gigs at a relatively small nightclub in Seattle lately so for whatever reason they aren't bringing in huge crowds or some shit. I don't get it.

Yeah this pretty much says it for me.

With the addition Datsik and Rusko.

Seattle Sept 10th! I wonder what venue it will be at though? Cause they said on the website that it will be taking place at some outdoor amphitheaters. HMMMMM

Yeah, I posted this on the "other festivals" thread. If it's the gorge I'm buying tix so fast your head will spin.

Even if it's not the gorge, I'm tempted to go either to the Seattle or SFO date. It's been almost a year since I was in SFO, so I'm probably due (I used to go there 4x / year).

Crystal Method is just doing a DJ set, and to be honest, I'd rather see Aoki than TCM spin records. If TCM was doing an actual set I would wet my pants.

On that lineup I'm actually quite excited to see Nero too, since I missed them last time they were through Calgary.

Bear in mind this is a one-day show and given the lineup I expect little more than a sequence of DJ acts with not a lot of stage presence. I'll gladly attend anyways since for me EDM is more about dancing and getting into the energy of the crowd than anything else. When you have a DJ on stage who's connected with the crowd and spinning whatever makes the crowd tick, it can be an incredible experience even without a light show.

Still, if they price this much more than $100 It'll be a tough sell, especially the mid-week shows.

Edit: Ignore my previous blathering about Datsik (deleted). I had things mixed up in my peanut-sized brain. He's well worth seeing here if I have the chance.

If it's at the gorge I will die.

why has no one said white river? It seems like that'd be more logical than the gorge

pretty shitty venue though, sorry if they hold it there guys
