I'm sure I missed out on going to Identity, but I had a blast just seeing Pretty Lights the night before in Eugene. He played a 2.5hr set and it was a blast, and the best thing about it, no candy raver kids. The crowd was all college kids and older. I saw a lot of dead heads and lsd as well, which was kind of suprising I guess. Maybe they were all trying to make $$$ for when the further tour comes into town in a few weeks.

I love the setup Sasquatch has right now. I am not a raver by any means, but I really enjoy a lot of EDM right now. 1/3 EDM, 1/3 Hipster bullshit, and 1/3 quality acts is fine by me. The reason is because that means i'll most likely enjoy 2/3rds of the festival, and I get to ignore the other 1/3 because they conflict with the other music I like.

I heard the Gorge was over-run with sixteen-year-old candy ravers with glowing pacifiers in their mouths this weekend.

It was god damn ridiculous! But honestly by the end of the weekend I wasn't as annoyed as I thought I would be, I met a lot of cool ass younger kids (19-22) that just wanted to have fun and not bring all the bullshit problems the younger kids bring with them to shows like this. Yes the amount of kandy, pacifiers and rave shit in general was annoying but it was easy to ignore. I hope this festival sticks around for more than a year.

Quite a few of my friends drove up to The Gorge for this and they all had the same to say about it as you did Lahey. Sounds like I really missed out but with school and what not, I cant really afford to have such a potentially brain-cell-killing weekend in the middle of the semester.

Do you by chance know a Jesse Taff?

*BALLS! Didn't mean to double post. Why isn't there a delete post option?

A quick facebook check says I more than likely have met him simply due to the amount of mutual friends but no I wouldnt say I know him.

I don't get it.

So much train wreck.

I guess they cancelled the Miami stop of this tour. People be pisssssedddd

Miami has Ultra. Let them be pissed. The whole identity lineup has been or will be there anyway.

I thought it was cancelled because of the hurricane?

I think so. I also think it was re-scheduled for after the Gorge show which was supposed to be the last one.

Correct, but apparently they rescheduled the date without making sure that the artists could be there and most of them had other commitments.

Fuckin' ravers, how do they work?

I don't think the above is NSFW, but I mean, I probably wouldn't look at it at work, then again my coworkers are women over 60.

Yeah, a couple friends of mine... That's pretty much how they roll.

'Raver' is becoming like 'Hipster' -- everyone who is one is definitely going to say nuh uh I'm not.

There should be a fucking law against unnecessary suspenders.
