Did that Foster the People album surprise the hell out of you, as it did me? I fully expected it to be a flop but it's a really fun album.

i feel like foster the people are this years hockey. a major label band that is playing most all the fests before releasing an album.

also, the new Marissa Nadler album is quite lovely. I also finally listened to The Vaccines (after avoiding them on principle as I do most NME hyped bands) and their albums is way better than I expected.
