| Ew. I love of Montreal, I even liked False Priest. But that EP was terrible. |

| How anyone can sit and listen to False Priest is baffling to me. oM has been fucking terrible for the last ten years, but False Priest just took the shittiness to a whole new level. |

Definitely these.
Also:
Julian Lynch - Terra The Residents - Lonely Teenager R.E.M. - Collapse Into Now
Pretty dismal first half of the year in terms of new music, this list should be twice as long. |

Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer? was awesome, otherwise I agree with you! |

| I liked elements of Hissing Fauna's darker tone and I think that 'The Past is a Grotesque Animal' is a really impressive piece, but that gaudy production style they have been using since Satanic Panic is like nails on a chalkboard. And songs like 'Suffer for Fashion' and especially 'Bunny Ain't No Kind of Rider' exemplify all of the most dismal qualities of oM 2.0. It's definitely the least awful since Aldhils, but I still can't stand it. |

| We were lamenting the other day the loss of the great story-telling qualities of the earlier of Montreal. |

| I played my ooooold copy of The Gay Parade, the groove is so worn down you'd think I'd been using a rusty nail for a stylus. Hehe. But yeah, what happened to the golly-gee storytelling and the vaudeville? It's a fuckin' crime. Boo, Georgie Fruit. Boo. |

damn good list. I imagine that Black Up and Burst Apart will end up on my list but I've been avoiding both since last I checked the leaks were still pretty low quality. I did listen to black up one time and it sounded fucking nuts. I really wasn't that thrilled with the battles album though... |

I have fallen head over heals in love with that battles album. I liked their eps slightly more than mirrored at first because I loved their instrumental songs. I just like getting lost in it. But to each there own. |

REALLY looking forward to hearing Gloss Drop.
When it gets released. |

| You'll love it. |

Yeah I love Gloss Drop.
I should probably make a list of my top albums of the year but I'm too lazy. |

| I didn't think anything would be able to surpass Tomboy this year. Boy was I wrong! |

Phew. It's a good thing we're not talking about something as subjective as music.....oh wait. I'm not saying it's their best work, but I'm still enjoying it. I haven't spent a lot of time looking into new albums this year so my list is subject to change. |
