I'm all for the little track by track review, not to mention posting pics of the artwork. I have yet to receive my mix but as soon as i do that tracklist will be posted, and the review will follow shortly thereafter.

Pfffft... Flames fan...

I wish I had you as a recipient. I would send you some Flames memorabilia as well as a life size Iginla poster to hang on the ceiling above your bed. ;D

Drew?

EDIT: purely based on the tracklist, I really don't remember.

If you were receiving a mix from me, would you prefer me to pare it down from an hour 40 to an hour 15, or pump it up to a full two cds worth?
Posted by Switch on Apr 2, 2011, 11:00pm
If the flow is moving along nicely and shouldn't be halted then 2 cds is what it should be. "Don't tell the DJ got to turn it low, we keep on rockin' 'til the early morn"

Get it to two
Posted by J. Walter Weatherman on Apr 3, 2011, 12:19am
Alright, that's three votes for two. Done and done. Future mix receiver, hopefully you thank these people, and don't end up shaking your fists at them.

This is going to take some hefty organizing.

Final note: I'm going to make a grooveshark playlist of my mix, and send the link to it to my recipient so he can post it and you guys can listen if you want to. If I have time, I might even do the same for those of you who post your tracklists. If I'm REALLY feeling like putting some time in, I'll put the links to the playlists in the OP for posterity's sake.

Alright, it only took about twenty minutes to put this together. Link goes to "The Mix For Lumpy." I'll change the names of the playlists to the mix maker's name once it gets guessed/revealed.

For those of you you haven't used grooveshark before, this is easy as pie: click they 'play all' button in the top left corner, and then just let it run.

Thoughts on this plan? Think its a good idea to post these in the OP?
Posted by Shaxspear III Esq. on Apr 3, 2011, 1:32am
I think it's a capital idea.

The one bad thing about you doing the grooveshark thing is that you might not put the right song in there. I was chekcing out if all of my songs were on there. There were some that aren't on there and there are also some that aren't even the right song or different versions.

I kinda like the idea of track by track mini (maybe single line) commentary. Gets the tracklist and the feelings about such out there, and now that I think about it, is a good way to find out more about someone's general music tastes!

Uh oh, both I, as well as the person who sent me my mix wrote about a paragraph commentary on each one.

Too much?
