If I could devise a lineup it would look something like that.. Stellar choices.. A mix of everything.. That's what festival's are all about..

Hey Adam Snacks.. Take Notes.. The Foo Dr. Garbanzohters are not worth the money you paid for them! Mixing rock & indie music won't get Sasquatch where it needs to be..

Where the fuck does it "need to be?"

Until they move it to a larger property (which they won't) it's exactly where it needs to be. End of story.

What I'm saying is that Adam Snacks & Sasquatch Brass could have picked a more eclectic lineup than they did.. Alot of Rock & Indie Rock along with minimal electronic acts is what we get everyear.. I know Sasquatch won't be able to compete as far as the lineup goes.. But we do have one of the greatest festival grounds in the US (THeGurge).. Put together a more open minded lineup & you would pull in way more people from other area's of the country & make Sasquatch a major festival even with 40k capacity..

Sasquatch is already a major festival. It has it's own identity and manages to sell out within a week of the lineup announcement. It has a devoted audience. Not only is it completely incapable of getting bigger, it doesn't need to. If you want all your stupid dirtfucking hippie jam bands then go to fucking Bonnaroo and SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Thank you HG. I'm far too sick and congested to type anything constructive today so that helped me out a lot.

This thread is about Bonnaroo, so if you don't like Bonnaroo.. GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE AND SHUT THE FUCK UP! There is a SquatchCreep thread to talk shit about me, if you wish to waste your day..

So, why did you bring up the Snacks thing if this is a Bonnaroo discussion?

Just wonderin' pot in kettle.

Snacks needs to take notes from Bonnaroo Brass on how to put a true music festival lineup together.. That's what I was sayin..

You are so negative.. Maybe practice some positive thinking.. Get away from the keyboard for a day or two.. Enjoy the sun & chill out.. You ever been to a head shrink? That might help also..
Posted by Horned Gramma on Feb 15, 2011, 1:37pm
Yup, my appointment is at 3:00pm today. I guess I can see how making fun of people who seek out psychiatric help might constitute 'positive thinking' for someone like you.

Not a bad lineup, but there are more bands I am excited to see at Sasquatch. The headliners are definitely more buzz-worthy, but if attendance really is 80k, it's not like I'd have the dedication to get close enough to enjoy them anyways. Knowing I can spend my morning/early afternoon drinking in the camp site, my day stage hopping and still set up shop on the hill if I choose to for the headliner, is a huge part of what makes Sasquatch enjoyable.
