I know there's lots of renditions of this song, including the wonderful Jeff Buckley version. However if you were able to watch this live, it was pretty special at the time.

I was there. It was an amazing evening!

This is the Tiger Lillies doing "Send in the Clowns". In 2001 I went to see a production by the modern dance/multi media group Holy Body Tattoo (if they ever are in your area CHECK THEM OUT! though touring is rare) doing a production called "Circa". It blew my young mind into tiny little pieces. The soundtrack is made up of Tiger Lillies songs and stuff they wrote for the production, I still vividly remember every moment of the evening both for the show and my introduction to the Tiger Lillies who eventually sent me down a yet unchartered journey toward more absurd yet moving musical discoveries.

This song on its own is for you to judge, but with the visuals and dance that I saw accompany it I find it nothing short of beautiful.

What a stupid image on the Youtube thing, here's what they look like.

the best part of this video is how it's all backwards and everybody is left-handed

Atrocious quality, but the only version I could find. While I hate pretty much everything Jimmy Fallon does, his Neil Young impersonation is spot on.

The cover of Whip My Hair with Springsteen is hilarious.
