| After last year I said I wouldn't go again, but maybe I just need to plan better. |

| Hell yeah, Sled Island is the best. I don't think anything can top Andrew WK's party house from last year, but this will definitely be a blast again. |

I am super excited about the curators this year and very curious to see what they bring to the table. Plus any chance to see Thee Oh Sees again is highly welcome!
Sled Island is the greatest thing to happen in the city of Calgary year after year. Fuck the Stampede, this is where it's at. It's essentially a smaller version of SXSW. There are about 200 bands that roll through the city and play roughly 20 clubs for four days. It's a great way to see larger bands in intimate settings. Broken Social Scene at the Legion, Red Fang at the Palomino, Japandroids/Ladyhawk at Broken City and Okkervil River in a fucking church are probably the most memorable for me.
I think that the Sasquatch crew should make an attempt to come down from the NW this year for Sled Island! |

I would be fucking psyched about that festival this year but I am not allowed into your country.
Currently drafting plans for tunnel. |

I also highly recommend volunteering for this festival. I met tons of really great people, plus Obvi the benefit of a free wristband. |

Last year I wasted so much time and money at that festival and I didn't see very many shows. If I wanted to drink, then I had to only go to shows within walking distance and then take an expensive cab back to my campsite. If I wanted to not drink and drive to each show I had to pay for parking each time. There is probably a way to do it better, but I didn't know Calgary very well either. I'll come down and plan better if I like the lineup! |

| Cabbing would sexually suck. Use the train more! |

| Souly rather than camp again, you can crash at our place if you want to do Sled Island. |

| I will take you up on that if the lineup is nice! |

It would appear that there are many Calgary boarders that would gladly help you out. Come on down. Everyone included. |
