| oy... at least a 1-hour special on youtube is better than the 2010 Myspace announcement that took like 11 hours. |

| I don't know why I even care anymore. |

| Right? And the Roo Clues are so annoying. They just released #13, which is located at the Nashville Humane Society- so Animal Collective? |

| Hey, look at that, I got another star. |

Switch out Petty with Neil Young and this would be the making for my dream Bonnaroo lineup.
Does this mean that I have illegitimate children somewhere of which I am unaware? |

So who the hell is paying for this Bottle Rock Napa Valley festival? There is a huge amount of expensive ass bands on this bill. Saturday alone has three previous Sasquatch headliners.

They seem to be going for broke on this and it will either be a huge success or a huge failure. The lineup seems to be all over the place and I wouldn't go even if I lived there, so I'm betting on the failure side of things. |

I think you're right it'll be a failure, but not 'cause of the line up. The line up might be "all over" but it's decent at least. But it'll fail 'cause it's freakin' exspensive! Four day pass is $399 and it doesn't include any of the delicious food or wine they're selling. If there was some sort of a "sampler" of the food/alcohol included, since it is a festival about music and food and wine ect., then I'd consider it (if I lived nearby).
Also, that was one of the worst websites I've been to; extremely difficult to navigate and kinda looked like an amateur blog. |

Yeah, I've been creepin on this Bottle Rock festival thing for a while. They were super secretive about ticket prices until recently and the cheapest are $399 for the weekend. I laughed out loud in my office when I saw that. I want to see Iron & Wine and Sharon Van Etten and a couple others (primus, FLAMING FUCKING LIPS) but there's no way.
I will say that Napa is a weird place, with lots of rich people who think they're really down to earth and cool but definitely are not. I think some tickets will sell. But I'd be surprised if this happened again next year. |

I don't know who they expect to attend this thing, but going massive the first year usually doesn't work out for festivals (see: Pemberton).
I didn't check their website before, but it does look pretty amateur.
That poster I posted also says "Last update 02.31.13" which has to be Feb 31, 2013. Not only does February never have a 31st day, but if it did, it wouldn't have happened yet. |
