Crash is an amazing album. Sometimes I get caught up in all their live albums and what not and forget to listen to Crash. I played it a couple nights ago actually, after I drank a ton of whiskey, and I was in musical bliss.

I need to be really drunk to listen to DMB too. It's a condition similar to beer goggles called, "beer ears."

I saw DMB on the tour for 'Crash', which was officially the last good DMB album. Yeah, it was a great show. Anymore, if you go see Dave Matthews perform you are automatically a huge fucking tool.

Same goes for.. of Montreal !!!

Can't believe I'm agreeing with you, but: true. Last good oM record was 'Aldhils', and the last GREAT oM record was 'Coquelicot'.

I second that, birthday boy.

I also agree, 'cept I think Aldhils should be upped to the "GREAT" category.

Damn Dave Matthews Band is not fucking around, check out this line-up for the Atlantic City show:

I don't know about the rest of you but this looks like a hell of a show to me!

Not too shabby, other than the fact that DMB is playing. With the exception of Crash, I am not a big fan, but the rest of the bill looks pretty solid.

Just waiting for the supposed Pearl Jam 20 festival to be announced now!

I actively dislike a large portion of that lineup but it's hard to deny that that's a pretty solid lineup if you like that shit

Bassnectar will play anywhere I guess.
Posted by LumpSquatch on Mar 9, 2011, 1:14pm
Well the truth, be it hard to swallow for some people, is that the Venn Diagram of DMB and Bassnectar fans has quite a huge intersection.

Everyone I know that likes Bassnectar likes DMB and vice-versa. (Exceptions are some people on this board.)

They announced the 2nd Dave Matthews festival line-up in Chicago. Flaming Lips performing Dark Side of the Moon!

it's like they booked a show with the sole porpoise of scaring me away.
