Also, I loved Songs in A&E, but I hope the show is mostly from the first few albums.
I've mentioned this at least four times on this board, but I saw them in a tiny venue (200 people) a couple years ago, and wasn't too thrilled. If it's billed as Spiritualized playing "Ladies And Gentleman We Are Floating In Space," it will be the biggest highlight of my weekend knowing I get to see most of the songs on that album live.
Jerk With a Bomb - Pyrokinesis They Might Be Giants - Flood Mr. Bungle - California Frank Zappa - One Size Fits All Pepper Rabbit - Red Velvet Snowball Man Man - Life Fantastic The Perfect Vessels - Name Our Own Stars Morphine - Yes
Pre-Space Lord if that makes any difference. I fuckin' love the song "Dopes To Infinity", like, so much! It is so Badass in the cheesiest and raddest of ways.
Superjudge is my favourite Monster Magnet album. Like you said, they're cheesy beyond cheesy but that album is unreal. "Cyclops Revolution" is one of the greatest first songs of all time.
Sharon Van Etten - Epic Sharon Van Etten - Tramp ( say those two album names in a row for lulz) Dan Deacon - Spiderman of the Rings Dan Deacon - Bromst The Books - The Way Out The Unicorns - Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone? Islands - Arm's Way Islands - Vapours ( do Americans take out that pesky, useless 'U', or because it is art do they respect the artists nationality?)
The fucking sweetest. He REALLY needs to be able to do his thing in the dark, though.
Yeah I guess, and that would probably never happen. No offence to all the EDM lovers, but a late night Dan Deacon show at Sasquatch would be better than basically anything EDM has to offer, IMO.
Paul Oakenfold - Global Underground: New York John K. Samson - Provincial
For you Weakerthans fans, John K. Samson is the singer/songwriter of the band and that's his new solo album. If you like them, or are just a fan of laid-back indie rock I'd recommend it.
