which really doesn't get the credit it deserves. This is a GREAT record and I think it gets overshadowed by Swim. Honestly I think I prefer this one. |

Totally agree about Andorra, but I've like basically every record he's ever put out.
Also in regards to El Camino, whether you hate the Black Keys or not, you have to admit they have a formula and execute it perfectly. Another solid record from them, the best in a few in my opinion. I also cannot fucking wait to hear "little black submarines" live, I can just imagine Patrick smashing the drums to that. |

Have you see 'em live yet? If they are at Sasquatch this year, dude let me tell you, we will have a set to remember. I give this the Black Mountain guarantee . |

Wilco - The Whole Love
I can't get over how awesome this album COULD have been. The first song, Art of Almost, is an incredible song and makes the rest of the album seem very mediocre. When I first listened to this album I got through the first song thinking that Wilco released a breakthrough album that would lift them to Radiohead status. They were poised to blow the world away with this album, but fell short in my opinion. It's not until the last song do they begin to compete with the brilliance of the first song. It's not that the album is bad, it's just when you open with such a diamond, the rest seems like coal. I got my ticket to see them in February though and am excited to hear these new songs!

| I loved The Whole Love. Either way Switch, you will have your socks knocked clear off when you see 'em live. One of the greatest touring bands on the planet. |

Listening to Wilderness Heart right now while Stormy makes nachos. I can't listen to Black Mountain without thinking about how Friendly D looked like he was on a fuckin roller coaster during the synth break on the title track from this record when they played it at Sasquatch this year.

I'm not saying that I dislike The Whole Love, I just thought that it was going to be more monumental based on the first song. It is a great album and I love Wilco. They have always been one of my favorites. This will be my 5th time seeing them. |
