I had no idea so few people knew of Fuck Buttons, seriously though if you have yet to check em' out, do it now!
Bands with the word Fuck in their name tend to have a tough time being discussed in any sort of mainstream media. That and maybe people are confusing them with Holy Fuck?
Then again Fucked Up won the Polaris Music Prize a couple years ago and the local radio station DJs used that as an excuse to say "Fucked Up" about 5 times uncensored before someone told them to quit it and put a beep in there. So maybe Fuck bands will slowly make their way out there.

Man I listen to CBC radio every day, and the program "Q with Jian Ghomeshi" has had both Fucked up and Holy Fuck play multiple times, he just says "effed up, and Holy eff" on air. However I think Fuck buttons just haven't had that much hype, even though they've been critically acclaimed and there records are really great.
I believe you are referring to JIAN Gomeshi. He was a member of Moxy Fruvous; he was the one with the particularly nasal voice. He sang 'King of Spain'.

I did change it before you posted, I meant to spell "Gian" as that's how it sounded in my head. But it looked wrong so I googled it and alas it is Jian Ghomeshi. Regardless, his show is awesome, I try not to miss it.

I definitely need to listen to that show more, it is awesome. I only ever listen to it when I happen to be driving at 10am, which is almost never.
I am pretty surprised more people dont know them though. Both their records have awesome reviews, particularly on pitchfork, and that usually gets the word out pretty quick.

I had no idea that guy had any sort of musical career before his broadcasting days. I guess that explains why he seems to know his shit about music like few other radio personalities.
