Topic Summary

For me it's always about the discussion, but even when the discussion is hot (read: at its best and most interesting) it's nice when someone throws you a bone, and it sucks when someone insults you. You're full of hot air, which I don't think some people always realize. But I never get too stressed out about shit like this.

What I've learned from this discussion:

I'll go see their set at Pitchfork for entertainment value, but I won't bother listening to anything of theirs. (Though I'm with Rust on liking the video for "Yonkers")

that's no fun, you should at least check out some of the other songs they'll probably play.

Sandwitches (tyler)
Fuck the Police (mellowhype)
French (tyler)
Rolling Papers (Domo Genesis)

oooookaaaaayyyyyyy. =)

I know Sandwitches too cause I watched that Fallon video a few times. I'll at least give those a try. I guess I should form my own opinion instead of letting others decide my opinion for me. BECAUSE THAT'S THE FUCKIN' BEAUTY OF AMERICA!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

smart move. I wouldn't listen to goblin though, way too scattershot. If you actually like those you should just listen to mellowhype-blackenedwhite or I can rec some more individual songs

I'm a full-album kinda guy, so I'll give BlackenedWhite the ol' spinaroo. Thanks!

has anyone listened to the new fucked up album?

i'm really really enjoying it. it's long but i'd didn't find it overly redundant or boring in any way. the sheer volume of work they have put out surrounding this release is impressive let alone the fact that its all been pretty quality stuff.
