What songs are you enjoying on Deerhoof Vs. Evil?


It was only my second listen. Everyone has their own weird ways of forming opinions on music. I like to give albums at least five listens before really Dr. Garbanzouring them out. I can't name one song on that album so far, but I remembered not liking one near the beginning, and liking one near the end. So there is your review.

I own the Runners Four, and listened to it at least 20 times. I never listen to it anymore, nor do I miss it. I just never dug the chick's vocal style. The "I'm going to rhyme stupid words like an Adam Sandler character on SNL," might be one reason.

The venue they are playing in Portland is not one of my favorites, and it's tough to get to (for me), otherwise I'd probably attend their show on your recommendation. I'll listen to the new album a couple more times, and if I like it, I'll buy a ticket.
