Listened to My Bloody Valentine - mbv today and I liked it but I can't fork over the dough for the vinyl on this one. Maybe a couple more listens will change my mind but its only another $12 for The Knife vinyl. Decisions decisions

I was there when they played this song for the first time. It was about four months before Naugahde was released, so it was the first time anyone anywhere had heard it.

And yes: it is fucking mindblowing live.

Aw man Grimes is tits. Her set will probably be pretty heavy on Visions because it's her breakout, but Halfaxa and Geidi Primes are so good. Also check out Darkbloom, her EP with De'on, and her collab with Blood Diamonds, which is a live favorite:

I am very pumped for the new album. Putting in my pre-order right now actually. Tropic Lame feels like summer. Just listened to it and it inspired me to go for a walk. It is sunny and beautiful outside.
